I am pleased to announce that Mike Koester is appointed Vice President of Operations at Utility Sales & Service.  

Mike started at USSI only three months ago, in anticipation of Al Borcher’s retirement, but has quickly gotten to know our people, demonstrated a keen sense of our operations and has become in integral part of our leadership team.

Prior to USSI, Mike had extensive operations experience in heavy equipment having worked and held leadership positions at Oshkosh Truck, Seagrave, Husco International and Meritor (an axle manufacturer).

Mike has a Bachelor of Science degree from UW Platteville in Industrial Technology.  He is also very involved in our community including the Appleton Area Hockey Association as coach and committee member.  

Mike and his wife, Annette, have two grown sons and live in Appleton.
