Town of Cicero Adds New Versalift Bucket Truck with Arbortech Chipper Body to Fleet
Utility Sales & Service, Inc. is proud to announce the delivery of a newly built aerial lift truck to the Town of Cicero, Illinois — a municipality with deep industrial roots, a strong work ethic, and no time for downtime.
This new unit, assembled and delivered by USSI, is purpose-built for municipal tree care and utility line access:
- A Versalift VO-270REV aerial device
- Mounted on a 2025 International 4×2 diesel chassis
- Paired with a rugged Arbortech chipper body
We also provided in-service training to ensure Cicero’s team was mission-ready the moment the truck hit the lot.
About the Unit
The Versalift VO-270REV is a 75-foot working height, overcenter aerial lift engineered for elevated utility and vegetation management. With its two-stage articulating and telescopic boom, it delivers reliable side reach and stability where it counts.
Mounted on a brand-new 2025 International diesel chassis, this truck offers proven performance, familiar serviceability, and durability built for Midwestern roads. The Arbortech chipper body rounds out the build with ample debris capacity, tool storage, and the ruggedness arbor crews require.
Every element was spec’d to meet Cicero’s needs — not overbuilt for show, but tailored for fieldwork.
Why Cicero Went with USSI
Municipal fleet managers like Cicero’s don’t gamble when it comes to equipment. They chose USSI because:
- We deliver gear that’s made to work, not just look good on paper
- Our training team shows up to ensure operators are field-ready
- We’re local — with full-service shops in Appleton, WI and Romeoville, IL
- We build long-term partnerships, not one-and-done sales
And most importantly — when it’s time for service, we pick up the phone. Our factory-trained techs handle everything from boom repair and dielectric testing to full overhauls. We’ve been backing municipal fleets since 1993, and we stand by every truck we deliver.
