Utility Sales & Service, a rapidly growing manufacturer and service provider of custom-made aerial lift trucks. As a Road Service Mechanic, you will be challenged in your daily responsibilities and be part of a culture who takes great pride in their work. Utility Sales and Service is looking for a mechanic to service clients in our territories of Upper Michigan and Wisconsin. This is a small but growing company, one where you are valued and have flexibility.
Road Service Mechanic Responsibilities:
- The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, servicing and repairing of truck mounted hydraulic equipment including; bucket truck aerials, digger derricks, light cranes, boom loaders, winches, lift gates, reel loaders, etc. accordingly to ANSI standards.
- Upon successful completion of training with shop and road service technicians, this position will require traveling locally Monday – Friday, with an occasionally overnight travel.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience in vehicle service repair in any areas of automotive, diesel truck, forklift, crane or heavy equipment industries.
- Experience with welding and fabrication are a plus, and experience in hydraulics and chassis electrical is preferred.
- A Valid driver's license and clean driving record are required. A CDL is preferred but not required (for test driving trucks that are being repaired).
- The ability to work 50ft in the air on aerial equipment.
- A Physical and drug test are required before starting.

Pay & Hours:
- First Shift Hours
- Pay for Road Service Tech: $28.00-$40.00/hour (this includes travel time)
