Utility Sales & Service, Inc. is proud to welcome DeVante Starks to the team as our newest Road Service Technician.

DeVante will be serving customers throughout western Wisconsin — helping keep utility fleets working safely, reliably, and ready when the call comes.

DeVante brings a strong background in mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and structural systems. He began his technician career rebuilding boats, barges, and ships throughout the southern United States, ensuring every vessel met or exceeded Coast Guard standards before returning to service. From there, he transitioned into mechanical maintenance roles at large manufacturing and processing facilities supporting nationally recognized brands.

Before entering the technician field, DeVante proudly served our country in the United States Army as an Armor Crewman. That same discipline, work ethic, and commitment to getting the job done right continue to guide his work today.

DeVante now calls southwestern Wisconsin home, living on a farm just outside of Boscobel with family roots spread throughout the state. Outside of work, he enjoys gaming, coding, gardening, and crafting his own mead — one of the world’s oldest fermented beverages.
