You will be home EACH night (only 1-2 overnight trips per year)!
Utility Sales and Service is a rapidly growing manufacturer and service provider of custom-made aerial lift trucks in Appleton, WI. The successful candidate is responsible for safe and timely delivery of customer-owned vehicles. In addition, this person is responsible to communicate needed maintenance and defects to his/her supervisor for the company vehicle they use.
The Part-Time CDL Driver will be primarily driving within Wisconsin, the Upper Peninsula, Michigan, and Northern Illinois, with occasional trips to surrounding states for vehicle pick up or drop off.

Responsibilities:
- Understand and have the ability to perform mandated daily driver vehicle inspections as well as operate vehicles in accordance with all FMCSA regulations
- Understand and work with company-given work instructions
- Follow delivery driving routes and time schedules
- Communicate and coordinate effectively with supervisor
- Obey all traffic laws and be courteous on the road
- Prepare and complete all paperwork needed
- Adhere to all safety guidelines
Part-Time CDL Delivery Driver Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Must possess a valid Class A CDL
- Must have a safe driving record
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Dedicated to quality, standards, and procedures
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs occasionally
- Will need to participate in company Random Drug/Alcohol testing program in accordance with FMCSA regulations
- Successful completion of drug test, physical, and background check
- Must possess a valid DOT medical card
Pay: Depends on experience
Hours: Approximately 20–25 hours (Monday–Friday, day shift). This will vary depending upon number of deliveries available.

- Fabricate custom wire harnesses as needed.
- Test systems and troubleshoot problems, if they occur.
- Final assembly of components onto new truck assemblies.
Vehicle Electrical Assembler Qualifications:
- Good mechanical/electrical aptitude.
- Electrical experience in automotive and/or mobile equipment applications (auto, construction, agricultural or similar areas).
- High attention to detail.
- Experience using basic hand and power tools.
- Self-motivated and able to work well with others.
- Must also be able to bend, twist and occasionally lift up to 75 lbs.
- Must have own basic hand tools (a tool allowance/signing bonus may be available to help with the purchase of said tools).
- Good work ethic, attitude and attendance record required.
- Schematic experience is helpful but not required.
- Good problem-solving skills and a desire to take on more challenging projects once fully trained.

- To work as part of team building custom trucks.
- Follow product bill of materials, drawings, written instructions, pictures, and quality control documents to build trucks.
- Installation of major components including bodies, aerial & digger devices, winches, etc.
- Assembly and testing of truck mounted equipment and hydraulic systems.
- Fit and assemble prefabricated and purchased components to the truck.
- Utilize various hand and power tools, forklifts, and overhead cranes to perform job functions.
- Perform testing of trucks and truck mounted equipment as required.
Qualifications for Truck Assembler:
- Demonstrated mechanical assembly skills, specifically building large mobile equipment.
- 2+ years of experience assembling, testing and diagnosing hydraulic systems, preferably on mobile equipment.
- Ability to read and understand hydraulic schematics, electrical schematics, layout drawings, 3D models, and interpreting photos.
- The ability to work 50ft in the air on aerial equipment.
- Is self-motivated and able to work in a team environment.
- Must also be able to bend, twist and occasionally lift up to 75 lbs.
- Must supply a personal set of basic tools or have the ability to acquire. Company guidance on tools required will be provided.

We provide product-specific training to those with strong, proven mechanical, electrical or hydraulic knowledge or those that have taken relevant tech classes. -

(While training, the employee would most likely be on the 7:00 am–3:00 pm shift.)
Paid morning and lunch break.

USSI Rentals, located in Romeoville, IL, is a rapidly growing aerial lift distributor providing rentals, service, sales, and parts for all makes and models. We proudly represent and are a distributor for both Elliott Equipment Company and Time Manufacturing - Versalift products. With our continued growth, we are looking to add a Field Service Technician to our team to repair and inspect client equipment and also rental equipment owned by USSI Rentals.
In the Field Service Tech role, you will be home most weeknights and home each weekend! (This position involves approximately 4-5 weeks overnight travel during the year, to assist with client inspections.) You will have a company truck that you can take home and you will be able to travel from your home address to customer sites each day.
This Field Service Tech role will involve traveling to client locations in Chicago and Surrounding Suburbs, Northern IL, Northwest IN, and SW Michigan.

Field Service Tech Responsibilities:
- The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, servicing and repairing of truck-mounted hydraulic equipment including bucket truck aerials, digger derricks, light cranes, boom loaders, winches, lift gates, reel loaders, etc.
- Upon successful completion of training with shop and road service technicians, this position will require traveling Monday – Friday to customer sites. (You will be home most evenings).
Field Service Tech Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience is required in service repair in any areas of heavy equipment, forklift, crane, automotive, or diesel truck industries. USSI Rentals is willing to train the right candidate who does not have service repair experience but has welding, hydraulics, and chassis electrical experience.
- The ability to train in Romeoville, IL before going on the road is required.
- This includes paid training and hotel/meal reimbursement during training, if needed. You would have the option of commuting if you live within 1 hour of Romeoville or can stay in a hotel during the week as you train.
- Experience in hydraulics and 12 VDC electrical systems is preferred, and welding or fabrication experience is a plus.
- Ability to travel overnight for about 4-5 weeks during the year. This is typically done during 1-2 months of the year.
- A Valid driver's license and clean driving record are required. A CDL is preferred but not required (for test driving trucks that are being repaired).
- The ability to work 50ft in the air on aerial equipment.
- Employee needs to have his/her own hand tools
- Successful completion of a physical, background check and drug test are required before starting this Field Service Tech role.
