Last Thursday, we gathered at USSI to celebrate one of our own — Dan Kiecker — as he wrapped up a remarkable 27-year career with the company.

Dan joined Utility Sales & Service back in the late ‘90s, and from day one, he brought grit, skill, and a rock-solid work ethic to the shop floor. As a Service Technician, Dan helped keep our customers’ fleets running strong, whether it was a routine inspection or a downed aerial that needed to be back in the fight fast. If it had hydraulics, Dan could fix it. If it was a challenge, he didn’t back down.

We were honored to welcome Dan’s family into the shop for his retirement sendoff.

There were laughs, a few stories that probably shouldn’t be written down, and more than a couple of handshakes from folks who knew what his work meant to the mission.

To Dan: thank you. For showing up early, staying late, answering the call, and helping shape the USSI service team into what it is today. You left your mark, and we’re proud to have had you in our ranks.
