On the Ground with APWA Wisconsin: Spring Conference 2026
This week, USSI is in Brookfield, WI for the APWA Wisconsin Chapter Spring Conference, April 22–24 at the Brookfield Convention Center – one of the key gatherings for public works professionals across the state.
The American Public Works Association (APWA) represents the people responsible for keeping communities running—streets, utilities, fleet, and infrastructure. The Wisconsin Chapter brings that group together each spring for a few days of practical conversation, training, and time with others who understand the work.
This is a working show.
You’ve got fleet managers talking through specs and replacement cycles. Public works leaders comparing notes on budgets, staffing, and uptime. Crews and supervisors sharing what holds up in the field and what doesn’t. It’s straightforward, and that’s what makes it valuable.
We’re set up at Booth #10, and we brought a Versalift platform sign truck with us. It’s a purpose-built unit for municipal work—sign placement, maintenance, and safe access along busy roadways. Simple to operate, dependable, and built to handle daily use without slowing your crew down.
That’s why we’re here. To stay close to the people doing the work and to understand what equipment needs to deliver—day in and day out.
If you’re attending, stop by and take a look. More importantly, let’s talk about what you’re seeing in your fleet and out on the street.
That’s where the real value is.
