USSI Offers Pickup & Delivery for Utility Fleet Service
Utility Sales & Service, Inc. (USSI) offers professional pickup and delivery services for utility vehicles—designed to take that burden off your plate.
Coordinating vehicle transport is one of the most frustrating parts of managing a utility fleet. Whether it’s a DOT-legal unit due for inspection or a new bucket truck ready for delivery, finding staff, availability, and time to move it is a constant scheduling headache.
Fleet Pickup & Delivery for Service, Maintenance, and Rentals
USSI’s CDL-certified drivers are available to transport your fleet vehicles directly to and from our Appleton, WI or Romeoville, IL locations. Whether it’s a routine PM, major service repair, ANSI inspection, or door-to-door delivery of new or rented aerial equipment, our team can handle the move safely and efficiently.
We also offer flat-tow service using our own transport rigs—ideal for DOT-legal vehicles that are operable but can’t be easily staffed for delivery.
Flat-Tow Requirements:
To qualify for flat-tow pickup or delivery, the unit must meet these specs:
- Pintle-style hitch
- Operational electric trailer light and brake connection
Prepping Your Vehicle for Pickup
To ensure a smooth transfer, please make sure:
- DOT lighting is fully operational
- Fuel tank is full
- All fluid levels are topped off
- Registration and insurance are current
If the unit doesn’t have a pintle hitch, contact us to explore alternatives.
Scheduling and Billing
Please contact USSI at least one week in advance to schedule a vehicle pickup or delivery. This service is billed as a separate line item on your primary invoice, whether for repair, inspection, or new equipment.
