Efren has stepped up as a mentor to young techs, earning the respect of his peers with solid work and straight answers.

We’re proud to share some big news from the team at USSI Rentals, Inc. — Efren Hinojosa has been promoted to Service Writer and Inventory Control at our Romeoville location.

Efren joined Power Equipment Leasing back in June 2019 as a Service Technician, bringing hands-on experience from the RV service industry. He quickly became a go-to guy on the shop floor, tackling repairs on both customer-owned utility trucks and rental fleet units — including bucket trucks, digger derricks, and more. Over the years, Efren has stepped up as a mentor to young techs, earning the respect of his peers with solid work and straight answers.

In this new role, Efren will support our Bucket Truck Rental, Service, and Parts teams by writing accurate repair estimates for both internal and customer jobs. He’ll also oversee inventory control, helping to ensure we have the right OEM parts on hand to keep our aerial equipment fleet running strong and our downtime to a minimum.

We’re thankful for Efren’s leadership and grit — and we know he’ll bring that same commitment to his new responsibilities.
